Build instructions
Apart from the workpiece you need nothing else.
Carving and finishing
- Clamp the workpiece flat on the spoilboard or secure it with double-sided tape, and set the origin as shown in the carving assistant.
- Engrave scale and numbers, cut out the shapes inside with the 2 mm end mill, finally the stencil.
- Free the parts at the holding tabs with a utility knife or fine saw and sand the tab remains flush.
- Deburr the inner edges of the shapes with fine sandpaper so the pencil glides cleanly.
Assembly and final touches
- Only peel off the protective film after milling. Run a sharp pencil along the inside of the edge.
